Crysencio Summerville has revealed that faith and financial compensation drove his permanent transfer from West Ham United to Al-Hilal. The 24-year-old Dutch winger completed a £60 million summer move to the Saudi Arabian club, signing a four-year contract reportedly worth £245,000 per week despite earlier interest from European clubs including Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Speaking at a press conference alongside Netherlands national team manager Xavi Hernandez, Summerville confirmed his ambition to eventually return to Europe. Xavi praised Summerville's technical versatility and backed the forward to establish himself as a top player in Europe in the future.
