Former UCLA linebacker’s wife has wholesome reaction to his first NFL pick six

Washington Commanders linebacker Kain Medrano's wife, Layla Riggins, shared a celebratory video of her reaction to his first career NFL interception returned for a touchdown. The pick-six occurred during the fourth quarter of Washington's 33-31 victory against the Seattle Seahawks, extending the Commanders' lead after a previous score.

Medrano, a former UCLA standout drafted by Washington in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, posted five tackles alongside the touchdown in the win. He converted from wide receiver to linebacker during his collegiate career and overcame early injury setbacks during his rookie campaign.
