WASHINGTON — It took the Washington Mystics 2,547 days to bring playoff basketball back to CareFirst Arena. And it was all gone in a flash. The Mystics stayed close for three quarters. But a fourth-quarter implosion led to their demise…

The Washington Mystics saw their season come to an end following a 93-75 playoff loss to the Atlanta Dream at CareFirst Arena. Washington remained competitive through three quarters, narrowing the deficit to three points early in the fourth quarter. However, Atlanta took control in the final period behind clutch scoring from Jordin Canada, eliminating the Mystics from the postseason.
Sonia Citron led Washington with a game-high 25 points, supported by offensive contributions from Kiki Iriafen, Michaela Onyenwere, and Cass Prosper off the bench. For the Dream, Canada finished with 17 points, scoring seven consecutive points late in the game, alongside key three-point contributions from Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray.
