Jason Kelce has criticized the NFL for fining San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk $14,926 over a touchdown celebration, calling the league's actions "hypocrisy at the highest level." Speaking on his New Heights podcast, Kelce highlighted the contradiction of penalizing players for drinking gestures while the NFL heavily promotes beer sponsorships across stadiums and broadcasts.
The league penalized Juszczyk under rules prohibiting offensive demonstrations following a Week 2 win over the Miami Dolphins, though Juszczyk appealed, clarifying the gesture references his nickname "Juice." Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson and Indianapolis Colts guard Matt Goncalves also received fines for similar gestures, bringing the total penalties to $37,384.
