Ireland will likely head into November’s Nations Championship Test in Dublin against the Springboks without skipper Caelan Doris.

Ireland captain Caelan Doris is likely to miss November's Nations Championship Test against the Springboks in Dublin. According to The Irish Times, the 28-year-old Leinster No 8 is expected to be sidelined until at least the new year following complications from surgery.
Doris originally injured his foot during Leinster's URC final win over the Bulls in June and subsequently had a knee procedure. A subsequent knee infection delayed his rehabilitation, ruling him out of earlier matches and now threatening his availability beyond November.
