The New Orleans Saints have unveiled plans to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their famous 2006 "Domecoming" during an upcoming Monday Night Football matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The franchise will honor Steve Gleason and Curtis Deloatch as Legends of the Game, recognizing their historic blocked punt and touchdown recovery from the September 25, 2006, return to the Caesars Superdome following Hurricane Katrina.
Several members of the 2006 roster will participate in the tribute, with proceeds from the night's 50/50 raffle benefiting Team Gleason. The prime-time event will also showcase pregame musical performances by Irma Thomas and River Eckert, alongside an ESPN-televised halftime show headlined by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue featuring Eric Church, Kirk Franklin, Juvenile, Cyril Neville, and Ivan Neville.
