Nottingham Forest midfielder Gustavo Sa stated that he must improve his playing intensity if he is to succeed in the Premier League. The 21-year-old was signed by Forest in a £10 million deal before heading immediately on loan to Olympiacos for the season. Sa acknowledged in an interview with Liga Portugal's Videocast that a lack of intensity was likely why he was not placed directly into the Premier League squad.
Currently playing in Greece, Sa has registered one assist so far while dealing with a minor injury. He affirmed that while he must develop greater intensity, he remains fully confident in his value and capabilities. The versatile midfielder, who can operate as a number 10 or in central midfield, is working toward earning a place at Nottingham Forest once his loan concludes.
