Donovan Mitchell signed one major extension with the Cavaliers this summer. Now he’s signed another one with Adidas. Mitchell has agreed to a new multiyear contract with the shoe company that will extend his signature line through the D.O.N.
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell has agreed to a multiyear contract extension with Adidas. The agreement ensures the continuation of his signature shoe line through the D.O.N. Issue 10, making Mitchell only the seventh active NBA player to achieve 10 signature sneakers with a single brand.
Beyond sneakers, the partnership will expand Adidas's support for Greenwich Country Day, Mitchell’s former school in Connecticut, to assist students from underserved communities. Mitchell, who first signed with Adidas in 2017, previously inked a four-year, $273 million maximum extension with the Cavaliers in July.
