Miguel Gutiérrez: Who Man United must outfox to land Bayer Leverkusen’s assist king

Manchester United is reportedly monitoring Bayer Leverkusen left-back Miguel Gutiérrez as they seek attacking reinforcements on the defensive flank. According to German outlet Fussball, the 25-year-old Spaniard has registered one goal and three assists in four games since joining Leverkusen. However, United faces competition, as Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Juventus are also reportedly tracking the defender.

The Peoples Person notes that signing Gutiérrez on a permanent deal could prove difficult because he only recently joined Bayer Leverkusen on a long-term contract. Manchester United is prioritizing a left-back after international duty injuries to Patrick Dorgu and Noussair Mazraoui highlighted their depth concerns behind Luke Shaw.
