Man United plan to trigger a one-year extension for academy graduate Harry Amass as left-back cover amid injuries and transfer setbacks.

Manchester United are planning to trigger a one-year contract extension for young left-back Harry Amass before January. The 19-year-old was close to leaving Old Trafford in the summer, but defensive injuries have prompted INEOS to ensure they do not lose him on a free transfer next summer.
According to the Manchester Evening News, exercising the extension option will keep Amass under contract until 2027 and protect his transfer value. Amass could potentially leave on loan in January depending on the fitness of teammates, with permanent exit options expected in the summer.
