Ja’Marr Chase Was Asked About Travis Hunter And His Response Was Cold-Blooded

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase gave a dismissive response when reporters asked about facing Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Travis Hunter in his second NFL season. Asked how he felt about playing against Hunter now compared to his rookie year, Chase paused and simply replied, "Ummm … That’s all I got." Chase previously recorded 14 receptions for 165 yards and a touchdown against Jacksonville's defense in 2025.

Hunter, who won the Heisman Trophy at Colorado before being drafted second overall by Jacksonville, is serving as a full-time cornerback following an offseason recovery from a torn LCL. Despite drawing mixed reviews in coverage, Hunter recorded his first career NFL interception against the New England Patriots in Week 3.
