Host Says Nepotism is Benefitting the Raiders this Year: “Sometimes it Works”

Podcast host John Middlekauff stated that nepotism is currently benefiting the Las Vegas Raiders following the hiring of head coach Klint Kubiak, the son of former NFL coach Gary Kubiak. Speaking on the Colin Cowherd Podcast, Middlekauff argued that growing up around elite offensive coaching gave Kubiak a distinct advantage compared to other coaches.

Writer Josh Liles contrasted Kubiak's positive impact with the team's previous experience involving Brennan Carroll, son of Pete Carroll. Liles highlighted that Kubiak's focused, no-nonsense approach has transformed the Raiders into one of the NFL's most disciplined teams early in the season.
