The Springboks’ aerial and attacking game has proved dangerous for New Zealand, former All Blacks star Ben Smith argues, and the Kiwis must adapt to it quickly.

Former All Blacks star Ben Smith says Tony Brown has made the Springboks play smarter through improved aerial and attacking tactics. Speaking on the Highlanders' YouTube channel, Smith highlighted Brown's influence during the four-Test series against New Zealand, where South Africa altered their kicking game after dropping the opener to win the next three matches.
Smith noted that South Africa effectively manipulated space in the air to counter New Zealand's defensive tactics. Following a 42-38 defeat to the Wallabies, Rassie Erasmus' side faces the challenge of sustaining adaptability ahead of upcoming fixtures against Italy, France, and Ireland before the Nations Championship finals in London.
