Senegalese U17 international Serigne Afia Ndao has spent time training with Ipswich Town's academy.
Senegalese youth international central defender Serigne Afia Ndao has been training with Ipswich Town's academy. The 16-year-old, who currently plays for Dakar-based Be Sport Academy, also trained with Crystal Palace. He reportedly impressed Town's Under-18s coach Mark Robinson, while drawing additional monitoring from Newcastle United, Wolves, Al-Qadsiah, and Benfica.
Any potential permanent transfer to a British club must be delayed until 2028 when he turns 18 due to signing restrictions on foreign minors. The defender is expected to represent Senegal at the Under-17 World Cup in Qatar later this year.
