Own a piece of Town history! Top McCarthy was wearing on night he quit up for sale

The sweater worn by Mick McCarthy on the night he resigned as manager of Ipswich Town has been listed for sale on eBay. The faded Adidas sweatshirt, which features McCarthy's initials 'MM', reached £130.70 at auction ahead of the listing's scheduled conclusion.

McCarthy famously left the club following a 1-0 victory over Barnsley at Portman Road in April 2018. During the post-match press conference, he reacted to supporters booing his 56th-minute substitution of Barry Cotter, announced the match was his last, banged the desk, and walked out.
