The New England Patriots knew replacing A.J. Brown would require more from everyone around Drake Maye.Rob Gronkowski believes the problem has become much simpler than scheme or play-calling: New England’s receivers have to start winning their routes.Speaking with RotoWire in…

Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski stated that the team's wide receivers must create better separation to help young quarterback Drake Maye. Speaking to RotoWire, Gronkowski highlighted that New England's pass catchers are getting blanketed on routes following the absence of injured receiver A.J. Brown, who was placed on injured reserve on September 12 after suffering an ankle injury.
Gronkowski emphasized that the offensive struggles are a collective issue rather than solely Maye's fault, though the quarterback has thrown six interceptions and just one touchdown through a 1-2 start. To ease pressure, Gronkowski urged the Patriots to rely heavily on their running game, control time of possession, and dominate the line of scrimmage.
