The OKC Thunder must take advantage of their abundance of top-flight two guard talents and experiment with their rotations.

Writer Mark Nilon argues that the Oklahoma City Thunder should experiment with both Cason Wallace and Ajay Mitchell for the vacant starting shooting guard role. Following the departure of Lu Dort, head coach Mark Daigneault and general manager Sam Presti have reportedly indicated a desire to reimagine how the team operates rather than immediately naming an obvious starter ahead of the upcoming season.
While Wallace offers elite defense and long-range shooting as Dort's former understudy, Nilon highlights that Mitchell provides potent offensive firepower. Mitchell started 23 combined games across the regular season and playoffs last year, during which Oklahoma City went 22-1, leading Nilon to urge the Thunder to test both options throughout training camp.
