Andriy Shevchenko's 19-year-old son, Kristian Shevchenko, has completed a move to English seventh-tier non-league side Sholing FC. The winger joins the Southern League club ahead of their FA Cup third-round qualifying match against Ebbsfleet after previously developing in the youth academies of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Watford.
Kristian signed his first professional contract with Watford in 2025 but was released in May after failing to make a senior appearance. The Ukraine Under-20 international now looks to build his career following his father's illustrious legacy, which includes winning the 2004 Ballon d'Or.
