Training Camp Day 4: Get to Know New Blazer Branden Carlson

Portland Trail Blazers offseason signing Branden Carlson spoke with the media on Friday following the final day of training camp in Tualatin. The 7-foot center joined Portland on a one-year, $2.5 million contract after spending the previous two seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Head coach Micah Nori recently praised Carlson's offensive rebounding energy and noted his engaging personality during camp practices.

During his media session, the 27-year-old discussed his stretch-big playing style, athletic dunking ability, and a two-year church mission to England between 2017 and 2019 that temporarily paused his basketball career. The Blazers take Saturday off before returning to the court for Fan Fest on Sunday.
