LeBron James is 41 years old, joining a new team and entering his 24th NBA season. Naturally, the Sixers are considering putting even more responsibility in his hands.
The Philadelphia 76ers are planning to utilize LeBron James as an offensive point forward and primary playmaker entering his 24th NBA season. Head coach Nick Nurse described the 41-year-old as an elite creator and "table setter," indicating that while James may not bring the ball up every possession, Philadelphia's halfcourt offense will heavily run through him.
Nurse must integrate James into an offense that also features Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and newcomer Jaylen Brown. While Philadelphia plans to utilize multiple players in transition after rebounds, halfcourt sets are expected to prioritize James initiating action from the wing.
Jaylen Brown’s praise should cement Tyrese Maxey as the face of 76ersThe Sixer Sense
