Club football has made way for international action

Several Sheffield Wednesday players are participating in international duty during the club break before the Owls return to league action against Huddersfield Town on October 10. Will Grainger, Harry Gray, and Kieran Morrison are scheduled for matches with their respective youth and senior national teams on Friday, while Yan Valery's Tunisia is set for action in an upcoming friendly.
Sean Fusire already completed two 45-minute appearances for Zimbabwe in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying, with no further fixtures scheduled. Meanwhile, on-loan forward Ali Al-Hamadi withdrew from the Iraq squad due to an ankle injury and was seen at the Middlewood Road training ground.
