The Brazilian's successful loan stint in Lombardy to date could result in Dortmund recouping the fee they paid for him in 2024 if Como opt to activate the release clause.

Como 1907 are reportedly extremely satisfied with on-loan Borussia Dortmund defender Yan Couto. Managed by Cesc Fabregas, the Italian club has communicated their positive evaluation directly to Dortmund's management as the loan spell progresses successfully for all involved parties.
The Serie A side holds an option to buy the 24-year-old permanently for a reported €22 million fee. Couto, who originally joined Dortmund in a deal totaling €25 million from Manchester City, has started all six matches across domestic and Champions League competitions for Como.
