The Vegas Golden Knights suffered their first defeat of the season, falling 4-3 to the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night at T-Mobile Arena. Anaheim built an early 4-0 advantage behind goaltender Lukas Dostal, holding off a late Vegas third-period comeback attempt.
Beckett Sennecke opened the scoring late in the first period, before Alex Killorn, Jeff Malott, and Leo Carlsson added goals against Carter Hart in the second. Despite trailing 4-0 entering the final period, Vegas mounted a late push that ultimately fell short.
