Reggiani the “hottest candidate” for Dortmund exit this winter

Borussia Dortmund center-back Luca Reggiani is considered the leading candidate to leave the club during the winter transfer window, according to Ruhr Nachrichten. The 18-year-old Italian international has seen minimal playing time under manager Niko Kovač, recording only brief appearances in the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal this season. Dortmund may opt to sell him permanently or arrange a loan spell to address his lack of minutes.

A potential sale could help Dortmund raise funds for incoming transfers, with Zagłębie Lubin's Marcel Regula targeted for the winter window. Reggiani previously attracted interest before the summer transfer deadline, including a concrete offer from Southampton and interest from Italian clubs such as AC Milan.
