With the first little road trip of the season out of the way, the Flyers are returning home again tonight for perhaps their biggest matchup of this young season. The Flyers are set to face off against their rival Hurricanes…

The Philadelphia Flyers return home to face the Carolina Hurricanes in a 7:00 p.m. matchup broadcast on NBCSP and 97.5 The Fanatic. This marks the first meeting between the two teams since Carolina swept Philadelphia in the second round of last season's playoffs, with the Flyers seeking their first positive momentum following an uninspired start to the new campaign.
Ahead of the contest, the Flyers shuffled their forward combinations by elevating Carl Grundstrom to the second line alongside Trevor Zegras and Owen Tippett. Porter Martone drops to the third line, while Alex Bump shifts to the fourth line, and Joseph Woll is projected to start in goal against Carolina netminder Pyotr Kochetkov.
