Wire were beaten at Old Trafford on Saturday evening…

Sam Burgess confirmed he will remain as Warrington Wolves head coach despite their 32-10 defeat to Wakefield Trinity in the Super League Grand Final. Although his current contract is days away from expiring and he has not officially signed a new deal, Burgess stated he has given his word to club owner Simon Moran to stay at the club.
The 37-year-old coach completed his third season with Warrington, enduring another final heartbreak after being down 19-0 at halftime. Burgess conceded that Wakefield physically won the ruck, highlighting their control of the match as the decisive factor, but emphasized his commitment to building long-term success with the squad.
