Latest Joey Porter Jr. News to Annoy Steelers Fans, Impact Cowboys

Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is reportedly set to make his 2026 season debut for the Dallas Cowboys against the Houston Texans, just days after being traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Porter missed the first three weeks of the season in Pittsburgh due to a reported back injury and a contract standoff.

Dallas acquired Porter in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round draft pick and a 2028 second-round draft pick. Following the trade, Porter altered his previous stance of refusing to play without a contract extension.
