Frenkie de Jong injury recovery continues as Barcelona target full training after the international break, but November remains only a possibility.

Frenkie de Jong has shared an update on his rehabilitation from a knee injury suffered with the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup. Barcelona hopes the Dutch midfielder can rejoin full team training after the upcoming international break, although a definitive date for his competitive return has not yet been established by manager Hansi Flick.
De Jong has yet to appear for Barcelona this season, having spent the opening stretch recovering at the Ciutat Esportiva. Current projections point to a potential return to competitive action in November, with a LaLiga fixture against Alaves considered a possible target if he avoids further setbacks.
