Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker faces a fight to feature against the Detroit Liosn on Sunday Night Football.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker is unlikely to play against the Detroit Lions in Week 4, according to ESPN insider Adam Schefter. Coker left the previous week's game against the Cleveland Browns due to a quad issue and was also managing an ankle injury throughout practice.
Panthers head coach Dave Canales noted the team took a cautious approach in practice to evaluate Coker's availability before game day. With fellow receiver Xavier Legette on injured reserve, quarterback Bryce Young and the Panthers offense are expected to rely more heavily on Tetairoa McMillan.
