Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner has explained that Callum Hudson-Odoi's absence from match action is due to his recovery from a long-term injury. Glasner stated that the winger is working his way back to his best shape and expressed hope that he will earn playing minutes soon.
Hudson-Odoi originally joined Nottingham Forest for £3 million from Chelsea. In addition to regaining full fitness, writer Lee Clarke notes that Hudson-Odoi must also adapt to Glasner's tactical system, which does not utilize traditional wingers.
