Moise Kean has withdrawn from the Italy squad due to an injury and will miss the UEFA Nations League clash against Turkiye. Manager Roberto Mancini confirmed Kean's departure and suggested Atalanta forward Gianluca Scamacca could start instead at the Stadio Dall’Ara in Bologna.
Despite previously defeating Vincenzo Montella's side 4-1 in Bursa, Mancini warned that Italy cannot underestimate Turkiye. The manager also indicated that lineup rotations are expected, with Nicolò Barella, Alessandro Romano, and Giovanni Di Lorenzo potentially returning to the starting XI.
