I have to say that the discussion on our article about whether or not to keep manager Torey Lovullo and GM Mike Hazen, might be one of the SnakePit’s finest hours. It’s obviously a contentious subject, but the comments were…

A poll conducted by AZ Snake Pit revealed that 75% of participating community members voted to keep manager Torey Lovullo with the Arizona Diamondbacks. General manager Mike Hazen received 57% support, with 23% of voters expressing a desire to retain Lovullo while replacing Hazen. Following the vote, Lovullo agreed to a two-year contract extension running through the 2027 season.

McLennan notes that while Hazen's moves faced scrutiny after Arizona missed the playoffs, Lovullo earned widespread community backing for guiding the team to a finish ten games over .500 despite significant roster injuries.
