Michael Harris II finished a home run shy of hitting for the cycle to help lead the Atlanta Braves to a 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 2 of the National League Division Series. Harris went 3-for-5 with a single, double, and triple, driving in one run and scoring the go-ahead run as the Braves leveled the postseason series at one game apiece.
With his performance, the 25-year-old outfielder became the fifth player in Braves franchise history to record both a double and a triple in a single postseason contest. Harris previously hit a decisive three-run home run in the Wild Card Series round against the Philadelphia Phillies after concluding a regular season in which he posted career highs with 26 home runs and 87 RBIs.
