The Calgary Flames’ difficult start to the 2026-27 season continued on Sunday night.

The Calgary Flames dropped to 0-3 on the season after suffering a 6-1 defeat against the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena on Sunday night. Defensive breakdowns doomed Calgary early as Berkly Catton, Mackie Samoskevich, and Jared McCann scored first-period goals against goaltender Dustin Wolf, establishing a commanding 3-0 Seattle lead.
Shane Wright and Samoskevich extended Seattle's lead to 5-0 in the second period. Morgan Frost scored Calgary's lone goal on a third-period power play before Jordan Eberle answered 39 seconds later to seal the 6-1 victory, leaving the Flames winless through three games.
