Jewel Andrew hurt a finger during the third ODI against India and is being monitored by the West Indies medical team ahead of the five-match T20I series.
West Indies have added wicketkeeper-batter Amir Jangoo to their T20I squad as injury cover for Jewel Andrew ahead of their five-match series in India. The 19-year-old Andrew injured his finger while taking a catch in the third ODI on October 3, 2026. While hospital scans revealed no fracture, Andrew remains under observation by the medical team to decide his availability for the upcoming series.
Jangoo enters the T20I squad in impressive form after scoring 239 runs across the recent three-match ODI series against India. The 29-year-old also played a crucial role in helping Antigua and Barbuda Falcons win the CPL title in September. The five-match T20I series is scheduled to begin in Lucknow on October 6, 2026.
