Everton must now sell one star in the months ahead.

Football FanCast writer Ethan Lamb argues that Everton should offload experienced defender Michael Keane at the next opportunity. Following the summer departure of striker Beto for a reported £14m, Lamb contends that manager David Moyes must continue moving out surplus senior squad members to generate additional funds for reinvestment.
Keane has yet to play in the Premier League during the 2026/27 campaign, appearing only in two Carabao Cup ties. Lamb points to the 33-year-old's decline down the pecking order behind Jarrad Branthwaite, James Tarkowski, and Jake O'Brien, as well as poor statistical returns from last season, as justification to sell him.
