Liverpool have entered the race to sign Brentford right-back Michael Kayode, reportedly leading Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in tracking the defender. Caught Offside reports that the Reds have placed the Italy international at the top of their watchlist as they look to strengthen the right-back role. While no official bid has been made and a winter move is unlikely, Brentford could consider a permanent summer sale.
Brentford could demand between £51 million and £55 million for the former Fiorentina defender, who originally joined the Bees on loan before a permanent move. Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has deployed Ronald Araujo as a makeshift right-back amid issues with Jeremie Frimpong and Conor Bradley, while Arsenal could challenge for Kayode if Ben White departs next summer.
