Premier League tables between 2009 and 2018 would look very different with Manchester City's results removed

An analysis of hypothetical Premier League standings illustrates how voiding Manchester City's results between 2009 and 2018 would have significantly benefited Liverpool and Everton. City were reportedly found guilty of over 100 financial rule breaches from that era by an independent commission, though the club maintains its innocence. In an alternate table removing City's matches, Liverpool would have won the 2013-14 title, while Everton would have secured Champions League qualification.
Voiding City's fixtures would also alter several European qualification spots across the nine-year timeframe. Everton would have gained European places in 2010 and 2018, while Liverpool would have earned a Europa League berth in 2015-16 during manager Jurgen Klopp's debut season.
