Everton fan reaction to Friedkins and Tommy Fleetwood photo speaks volumes

Everton supporters reacted with frustration after club owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin were photographed with golfer Tommy Fleetwood at St Andrews. Fans voiced discontent on social media that the owners travelled to the UK for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship while chairman Dan Friedkin has still never attended an Everton match or met manager David Moyes.

According to Chris Beesley, supporter anger stems from a disappointing transfer window where over £100m was raised from player sales against just £4m spent on Ainsley Maitland-Niles. The collapse of Folarin Balogun's move left Moyes with an 18-man outfield squad, while Friedkin's other club, Roma, enjoys heavy investment and top-table success.
