Trae Young recently signed a four-year, $212 million deal with the Washington Wizards this summer after a massive trade sent CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert to the Atlanta Hawks in January.
Washington Wizards guard Trae Young stated on the Baller Alert show with Byron Turner that he remains open to a potential future reunion with the Atlanta Hawks. Young explained that he made an effort to leave Atlanta on good terms without bad blood, though he emphasized that his immediate focus remains entirely committed to his new home in Washington, D.C.
Young recently signed a four-year, $212 million contract extension with the Wizards after being traded from Atlanta in January for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert. Before the trade, the four-time All-Star spent nearly eight seasons with the Hawks, averaging 25.2 points and 9.8 assists across 493 regular-season games.
