After falling behind early, Vegas generated three goals in the second frame to secure their first road win of the season and rebound from a recent loss to Anaheim.

Vancouver opened the scoring with a power-play goal from Paul Cotter before Mitch Marner and Victor Olofsson responded for Vegas. Jonathan Lekkerimäki tied the game at 17:54 of the second period, but Gatcomb answered 34 seconds later off assists from Braeden Bowman and Nic Dowd to deliver his first goal with the team.
