Adin Hill gave up a bad goal late in the second period Sunday, but the Golden Knights picked him up and he delivered in the third period of a win over Vancouver.

Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Adin Hill made 18 saves to secure a 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday. After allowing a tying goal from Jonathan Lekkerimaki late in the second period, Hill rebounded by stopping all eight shots he faced in the third period. The contest marked Hill's first regular-season start since April 9, helping Vegas open their first road trip of the season with a win.
Marc Gatcomb scored the decisive goal just 34 seconds after Lekkerimaki tied the score, putting the Golden Knights ahead for good. Head coach Ryan Craig praised the team's response and noted the confidence boost for Hill, who aims to earn more playing time in a tandem with Carter Hart. Hill concluded his night by denying Elias Pettersson's late wrist shot in the final seconds.
