Manchester United Women appoint Jose Herrera as assistant head coach, replacing Scott Rogers, after a strong coaching career in Spain and abroad.

Manchester United Women have appointed Jose Herrera as their new assistant head coach, the club confirmed. The 36-year-old will work alongside Gavin Beith and Dan Bale to support manager Eva Olid. Herrera replaces Scott Rogers, who departs the assistant manager role after taking up the position in 2025.
Herrera brings extensive coaching experience, having previously managed Málaga CF Femenino, UD Tenerife, Al-Hilal, and most recently Atlético Madrid Femenino. At Atlético, he guided the team to the Copa de la Reina final earlier in the year.
