Andoni Iraola needs to get this deal done.
Liverpool and Chelsea have joined the race to sign Nottingham Forest defender Murillo in 2027, according to a report from Football Insider. The Reds are reportedly targeting the 24-year-old Brazilian center-back on a permanent transfer as a long-term successor for Virgil van Dijk.
Writer Zak Anderton argues that Murillo would be an ideal signing to reinforce Liverpool's defensive depth ahead of potential contract expirations in June 2027. Although Nottingham Forest would demand a substantial fee to part with the defender, both interested clubs are reportedly prepared to spend big.
