Serhou Guirassy and the Guinea national team are set to play on home turf again after over four years as Kenya visit Conakry for AFCON qualifiers.

Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy expressed his excitement as Guinea prepares to play an international match at home for the first time in over four years. The National Elephants host Kenya in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Conakry, marking the country's first home fixture since June 9, 2022.
Guinea had previously been barred from hosting matches because their stadiums failed to meet CAF requirements. Following a 2-1 defeat to South Africa in their opening qualifier, manager Paulo Duarte's side enters the clash against Kenya needing a victory to boost their qualification campaign.
