Birmingham City and Wrexham are used to battling on the pitch, and they could go toe-to-toe for Kristian Lien in the transfer market.

Birmingham City and Wrexham are reportedly targeting a permanent transfer for Djurgardens IF striker Kristian Lien ahead of the January transfer window. The 25-year-old Norwegian forward has scored 18 goals and added five assists in 26 appearances across all competitions since joining the Swedish club in January.
Lien is under contract until 2029 and holds an estimated valuation between £3.8m and £5.1m. Other clubs reportedly monitoring the striker include Coventry City, Borussia Monchengladbach, and SC Freiburg, with The72 suggesting Wrexham may hold an advantage due to Birmingham's previous signing of August Priske.
