Former Birmingham City skipper Harlee Dean has been speaking about the club's start to the season

Former Birmingham City captain Harlee Dean believes the club needs to sign an out-and-out number nine striker in the style of Che Adams. Dean praised manager Chris Davies for adopting a more simplistic, direct tactical approach, which has helped the Championship side secure 11 points and suffer just one defeat in their opening eight games.
While Dean commended Davies for adapting his philosophy to the Championship, he highlighted concerns over the team's finishing. Strikers Jay Stansfield and August Priske have combined for only two league goals, prompting Dean's suggestion for attacking reinforcements.
