Former Chelsea winger Willian has ranked Frank Lampard as the best manager he played under at Stamford Bridge after Jose Mourinho. Speaking on John Obi Mikel's The Obi One podcast, Willian praised Lampard's leadership, training intensity, and trust during the 2019/20 season, ranking him ahead of title-winning managers Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri.
Willian, who registered nine goals and seven assists under Lampard, also reflected on leaving Chelsea for Arsenal in 2020. He admitted that moving to the Gunners on a three-year deal was a mistake and stated that he should have stayed at Chelsea instead.
