The ECHO's Everton writers consider where Christian Norgaard, once fit, would fit into their plans

Christian Norgaard has returned to training at Finch Farm, presenting manager David Moyes with tough selection choices across Everton's crowded midfield. The 32-year-old Danish midfielder joined the club for £7 million from Arsenal during the summer transfer window but has yet to make his debut as he works toward full fitness ahead of next month's trip to Hull City alongside teammate Merlin Rohl.
The Liverpool Echo reporters argue that Norgaard faces significant competition to claim a starting spot due to the strong form of teenage midfielder Harrison Armstrong. While one reporter views a fit Norgaard as the ideal defensive shield alongside Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and James Garner, another correspondent believes Armstrong currently holds the position over Norgaard and fellow option Hayden Hackney.
