Oscar Piastri’s exceptional racecraft flew under the radar during the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia. While many were focused on Max Verstappen’s victory in Malaysia…

Commentator Jolyon Palmer praised Oscar Piastri for a "sublime" overtake on Liam Lawson during a late-race restart. Piastri, driving for McLaren, had mistakenly started on dry tires but recovered to finish in sixth place. Palmer lauded Piastri's braking maneuver after Lawson initially challenged him during the final safety car restart, calling their duel an impressive display of racecraft.
Despite his solid personal display and P6 result, Piastri voiced frustration over McLaren's lack of competitive pace. He noted that the team struggled with strategy calls and car performance, stating that McLaren needs to improve to get back into contention for race wins.
